HOUSE RULES
I extend a warm welcome to MAHI MAHI Hinchinbrook
In order to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, there are a few house rules of which you need to be aware. More detailed information is provided in the Guest Information Folder located in the home.
- SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside or outside on the Mahi Mahi Property.
No exceptions – leave the premises to smoke and dispose of butts appropriately (NOT in waterways, the ground, or surrounding rock walls). Please consider the environment. - NOISE: We are located in a residential area and governed by Council By-Laws, so noise should be moderated between the hours of 10pm and 7am. Please be mindful of other residents as noise travels easily over water.
- POOL: No children in pool without adult supervision. NO GLASS of any kind in pool area. Remove pool toys before leaving. Pool towels are provided—please do not use bath towels for the pool.
- BBQ: Please ensure BBQ is cleaned prior to your departure. A cleaning cost of $300 will be taken from the bond if this is not done.
- MAINTENANCE: Please report any malfunctions, breakages, or damages as soon as possible.
- GATES AND DOORS: Please make sure all doors and gates are locked on departure.
- PETS: No pets unless medically required.
- GAMES AND BOOKS: Please pack away games and leave books at the house for the next guests.
- WINDOWS AND DOORS: As the house is not screened, it is best to turn off lights at night (or close doors and windows) unless necessary, as they will attract unwanted insects.
- CROCODILES: Be aware there are crocodiles in the area, often seen from the house pontoon. Be careful around the water and DO NOT SWIM. There are safe swimming holes within a short drive.
- FOOD: No food in the bedrooms or on the fabric lounges.
- RUBBISH: Council bin collection is on Tuesdays.
